Refund Policy

Free Trial

All paid plans (Saga and Chronicle) include a 7-day free trial. Your card is not charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial at no cost from your Account page.

Subscription Billing & Auto-Renewal

By starting a paid plan you authorize Wanderhold, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the price and interval shown at checkout (monthly or annual) until you cancel. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. We send a renewal-reminder email at least 7 days before each annual renewal and 3 days before any price increase takes effect.

You can cancel at any time from your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and stops future renewals.

EU / UK / EEA Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, UK, or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of the start of the contract, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, send a clear statement to privacy@playwanderhold.com before the 14-day period ends. We will refund all payments received within 14 days of receiving your request, using the same payment method.

Loss of withdrawal right for digital content: Wanderhold delivers digital content (AI-generated narrative) that begins as soon as you start a paid session. By starting a paid session before the 14-day window ends, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. You can avoid this by waiting to use paid features until you are sure you want to keep the subscription, or by relying on the 7-day free trial first.

California Auto-Renewal Notice

California residents: under the California Automatic Renewal Law, you may cancel your subscription online at any time from your Account page without speaking to a representative. The renewal terms (price, frequency, and that the subscription continues until you cancel) are also disclosed clearly and conspicuously on the checkout page before you confirm payment.

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at privacy@playwanderhold.com within 30 days of the charge. Include your account email and a brief description. We review all requests and respond within 3 business days.

Exceptions

Outside the EU/UK statutory withdrawal window described above, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, unused campaign credits, or accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service. Mandatory consumer rights under your local law are not affected.
